The NMMS Assam 2024 application form is now available online, with the last date for submission set for October 30, 2024. Students eligible for this scholarship are those currently in Class VIII of government, local body, or government-aided schools, and whose family income does not exceed ₹3,50,000 per year.
The scholarship provides financial assistance of ₹12,000 per year to selected students from Classes IX to XII. The exam will be held on November 23, 2024, and the admit cards will be issued on November 10, 2024.

To apply, candidates need to fill out the online form, upload necessary documents such as photographs, signatures, and caste/disability certificates (if applicable), and submit the application fee. The application form can be accessed via the official NMMS portal.
Eligibility Criteria for NMMS Assam:
- Class:
- Students studying in Class VIII in a government, local body, or government-aided school.
- Marks in Class VII:
- A student must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) in Class VII.
- Annual Family Income:
- The annual income of the student’s parents should not exceed ₹1,50,000 from all sources.
- Examination:
- The student needs to qualify for the NMMS examination, which is divided into two parts:
- Mental Ability Test (MAT)
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- The student needs to qualify for the NMMS examination, which is divided into two parts:
- Reservation:
- Reservation is available for SC, ST, and other categories as per state government norms.
