Steps to Apply for the Delhi NMMS:

- Educational Qualification:
- The student must be currently studying in Class VIII (8th grade) in a government, government-aided, or local body school in Delhi.
- Academic Performance:
- The student must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST students) in the Class VII (7th grade) annual examination.
- Parental Income:
- The annual income of the student’s parents from all sources should not exceed INR 3,50,000.
- Examination:
- Students are required to appear for the NMMS examination conducted by the Directorate of Education, Delhi, which typically consists of a Mental Ability Test (MAT) and a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The selection is based on the performance in these tests.
- Additional Requirements:
- The candidate must be a regular student in a recognized school and should continue to study as a regular student in recognized schools in classes IX and X after receiving the scholarship.
